Dublin Motor Speedway Confirms Partnership With Carolina RaceSaver Sprint Car Series

A deal to bring Sprint Car racing to the coastal plains of Bladen County was inked on Tuesday, as DMS promoter Richard Bailey and CRSCS promoter Keith Frye have agreed to bring fans of the Rattlesnake something they have waited years for.

On May 14th, Sprint Cars will tackle the high banks of the fastest clay oval in eastern North Carolina for the first time ever. These sprints carry a 305 cubic inch crate motor that allows for stiff competition throughout the field

" We have a very competitive series that thrives on staying within our rules package" noted Frye. " Every night out, half the field can win, it's that competitive." The series will run a couple of heat races then come back with a 25 lap feature.

Frye says the series is excited to come to this part of NC: "Coming to a new track is something the guys will enjoy, we like big, wide, fast tracks,,so Dublin will see a great show! " " We have received some interest from some cars out of the Virginia area, so I'm hoping for a great field of sprints when we come to the Rattlesnake!"

Dublin promoter Richard Bailey on the series: " This area has been wanting a Sprint Car race for quite some time now, so Keith and I made it happen." Bailey also likes the package they bring: " It's a working man's series, those guys run on a budget with those motors which makes for competitive racing and better racing for our fans."

Dublin Motor Speedway Wraps Up 2015 Race Season

Well our 2015 season has come to a close and what an exciting ride it was! We can't thank our loyal fans enough for their unwavering support they have given us throughout the year. You packed the Rattlesnake on two occasions to the point there were no seats left and no tickets to be sold. You stuck with us through a tropical storm in May and a monsoon on July 18th just to see some great racing. We ventured out on a limb in 2015 and brought back something many had forgotten, unsanctioned Super Late Model races, just as you asked and you responded with great support and enthusiasm. Look for several of those in 2016! We have many sponsors who have been with us several years and many new ones that have come on board this season. We can't thank them enough for making everything we do at the speedway possible. We are truly blessed to have people coming to us wanting to be a part of our program. There is some exciting sponsorship announcements coming up over the winter that are already in place that are going to do nothing but intensify and upscale our racing agenda for our fans and drivers in 2016. To our drivers, thank you for your continued support, thank you for giving our fans a great show each and every week! We hope we you enjoyed racing with us and we look forward to having you back next year! As we close out 2015, we can say it was a very successful season at the Rattlesnake. Promoters, Richard and Shirley Bailey are very pleased with the overall economic status of the season, something they are very thankful for as many tracks still struggle in today's weekly racing world. So she goes into hibernation for five long months until the first warms winds of March grab her attention then she will unleash another season of incredible racing action at the only place you can get your "BITE ON", Dublin Motor Speedway!
